Andrew Paul Kritzeck, Devoted Father, Dies in Fatal Clear Lake Township Trailer Fire
Andrew Paul Kritzeck, 44, tragically lost his life in a devastating trailer fire in Clear Lake Township on February 17, 2026. Authorities have confirmed his identity through DNA testing, and the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office reported that his cause of death was carbon monoxide poisoning. The incident has been ruled as accidental.
Emergency crews were dispatched at approximately 6:25 a.m. to a fire on the 3100 block of River Road Southeast. Upon arrival, firefighters found the trailer engulfed in flames. Once the fire was extinguished, Kritzeck's body was discovered inside.
Known as Andy to those close to him, Andrew was a devoted father of four, and his passing has left a deep void in the hearts of his family and community. A fundraiser has been launched to support his children, raising nearly $30,000 to help cover immediate expenses and ensure their well-being.
