Alvin Duncan Remembered After June 6 Harley-Davidson Motorcycle Crash on Interstate 71 Near Interstate 670 in Columbus

Alvin Duncan, 65, lost life on Saturday evening, June 6, 2026, after a Harley-Davidson motorcycle crash on southbound Interstate 71 just north of the Interstate 670 interchange in Columbus.

Authorities said the crash happened at about 8:15 p.m., when Duncan lost control of the motorcycle and was thrown from it.

Columbus Fire Department crews responded to the scene, and Duncan was pronounced dead at the location.

Investigators said no other vehicles were involved, and as of June 7, officials had not identified a specific factor that caused the crash.

The Columbus Division of Police Accident Investigation Unit continues to review evidence from the scene and examine the moments before the crash.

Authorities had not released Duncan’s hometown, and memorial and funeral service details will be announced later by family members.
